At Terakeet, we pride ourselves on our five core values––the five traits that we look for in our team members and strive to embody as a company.
2. Sustainable Value
5. Rapid Response
There is, however, an unofficial sixth core value that holds a special place with many of our employees and with Terakeet as a whole––Community Engagement. Here at Terakeet, we feel that it is important to give back to the community that has been so good to us. Last weekend, we, along with thousands more in Syracuse, headed out to support an amazing local charity event called Paige’s Butterfly Run.
Paige’s Butterfly Run is a 5K race through downtown Syracuse, which raises money to support the William J. Waters Center for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse. To date, the run has raised over $1.5 million for children in Central New York.
The event caught the eyes of Terakeet’s Community Engagement Task Force, who organized a group of participants to strap on their running shoes, blast Chariots of Fire through their ear buds and make a mad dash for the finish line.
