Senior Director of Business Analytics – Remote/Virtual Work Opportunity

A Sr. Director of Business Analytics is dedicated to developing valuable client-facing performance reports and insights, ensuring Terakeet is positioned to deliver services inline with client goals, objectives and expectations, while also being focused on developing and mentoring their team and those in critical customer facing roles. A successful Sr. Director of Business Analytics will be proactive and investigative, understanding the need to dig into various 3rd party tools to find specific causes of traffic movement and other site activity. Frequent communication with internal teams, and the ability to articulate findings to both internal and external stakeholders, are essential to performance in this role, as a Sr. Director of Business Analytics  will use data to help identify opportunities that will drive future client strategies.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Producing premier reporting content by excelling in the identification of client-specific key performance indicators.
  • Identify more compelling data segments highlighting Terakeet’s targeted SEO efforts, including broader growth in non-branded organic search traffic.
  • Drive more business metrics within Terakeet’s insight reports for more audience appeal across a customer’s organization (CMO, CFO, CEO, etc.)
  • Develop a training program to improve the ability for those in critical customer facing roles (i.e. BSS’s, AE’s, etc.)  to perform their own investigations and confidently present generated customer reports.
  • Develop comprehensive usability, conversion, and behavioral analysis beyond Terakeet’s existing organic channel reporting.
  • Creating deeper forecasting and goal setting models; tying opportunity analysis to actual ROI.
  • Develop standards and protocols to ensure consistent identification, analysis, and communication of  customer value throughout the various stages of the customer life cycle: sales, on-boarding, and on-going delivery.
  • Developing monthly performance reports using programs like Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Omniture SiteCatalyst, Excel and others as needed.
  • Recommending and coordinating proper implementation of custom source code on an as-needed basis to ensure effective tracking of client-specific goals.

Preferred Skills and Attributes Include:

  • 4+ years of web analytics experience including the development of professional, client-facing documents and reports.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring a team.
  • Experience in search engine marketing; specifically organic search with the understanding for keyword research and ranking impact.
  • Ability to identify key performance indicators and success metrics given knowledge and understanding of client-specific business models and objectives.
  • Profound understanding of Google Analytics (related certifications are a plus).
  • Experience with other analytics platforms such as Webmaster Tools, Google Trends, and SiteCatalyst.
  • Extremely capable and comfortable working with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Very well organized and attentive to detail.
  • Enthusiastic about facing challenges and finding solutions to overcome them.
  • Inherently motivated to perform at a high level.
  • Team-player mentality.
