An Account Manager is dedicated to building and maintaining strong client relationships on a foundation of open and effective communication, ensuring Terakeet is positioned to deliver high impact results through our services that are in line with client goals, objectives, and expectations. This position also provides leadership to and fosters growth among, a team of direct reports, all of whom are responsible for executing against the Account Manager’s customer programs. An effective Account Manager must have an understanding of the search marketing industry, and how it integrates with other aspects of digital marketing to effectively drive day-to-day execution of the services.

An Account Manager will also provide leadership to, and fosters growth among, their team. In-depth knowledge of Terakeet’s approach to Engagement Marketing is critical, as multiple team members will report to an Account Manager and rely on the Account Manager for guidance and direction.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Building and maintaining close relationships with clients; ultimately responsible for the health of client relationships and quality of service delivered
  • Representing client's interests by effectively identifying and communicating business goals and objectives, contractual and non-contractual expectations, deliverables, and other factors to internal team members
  • Regularly analyze and measure results from engagement marketing campaign performance metrics to ensure focus on client KPI’s and effectively articulate value and return on investment to the client
  • Scheduling and organizing client account calls, meetings, presentations and delivery of related materials and/or reports
  • Coaching, mentoring, and teaching their team and ensuring consistent performance against client goals
  • Leading the development of customer goals
  • Planning and forecasting of tactics that support program success (minimum of 3 months in advance)
  • Utilize analytics and other relevant data to identify key performance indicators, make data-driven decisions to drive business recommendations and to communicate client’s return on investment
  • Pulling in specialized resources from other departments when expert-level insight is needed
  • Situational awareness; identifying and presenting opportunities for growth in the client relationship to internal and external stakeholders
  • Regular travel

Preferred Skills and Attributes Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, PR, Writing, English, Journalism or Business
  • 3-5 years experience in a client communications and/or strategy development role with a thorough understanding of digital and traditional marketing principles
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts and demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills to develop client-specific KPI’s that are in line with business goals and objectives
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, such as the ability to help mentor and advise junior team members
  • Comfortable presenting in group settings and directly to any/all levels of an organization
  • Strong verbal, written, and digital communication skills
  • Strong desire to succeed; self-motivated and willing to take on challenges
  • Detail oriented and organizedTeam-player mentality
