Account Manager – Engagement Marketing

An Account Manager is dedicated to building and maintaining strong client relationships on a foundation of open and effective communication, ensuring Terakeet is positioned to deliver services in line with client goals, objectives, and expectations. This position requires an understanding of the search marketing industry, and how it integrates with other aspects of digital marketing to effectively drive day-to-day execution of the services.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Building and maintaining close relationships with clients; ultimately responsible for the health of client relationships and quality of service delivered
  • Representing client's interests by effectively identifying and communicating business goals and objectives, contractual and non-contractual expectations, deliverables, and other factors to internal team members
  • Coaching, mentoring, and teaching their team and ensuring consistent performance against client goals
  • Planning and forecasting of tactics that support program success (minimum of 3 months in advance)
  • Scheduling and organizing client account calls, meetings, presentations and delivery of related materials and/or reports
  • Regularly analyze and measure results from engagement marketing campaign performance metrics to ensure focus on client KPI’s and effectively articulate value and return on investment to the client
  • Utilizes analytics and historical data, projecting trends and determining KPI’s to make business recommendations and data-driven decisions
  • Drive communication around identifying key performance indicators, monitor and measure against those KPIs and effectively articulate value and return on investment to client
  • Pulling in specialized resources from other departments as needed; getting the right information from the right people and ensuring it’s effectively communicated to client
  • Situational awareness; identifying and presenting opportunities for growth in the client relationship to internal and external stakeholders rooted in a profound understanding of the client’s business
  • Regular travel

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, PR, Writing, English, Journalism or Business
  • 2-5 years experience in a client communications role in a marketing or digital marketing capacity Experience developing client specific strategies and KPI’s that are in line with business goals and objectives
  • Hands on experience managing multiple client accounts and handling day-to-day client interaction
  • Track record of critical thinking and application of problem-solving skills; ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs
  • Thorough understanding of digital and traditional marketing principles
  • Comfortable presenting in group settings and directly to any/all levels of an organization
  • Strong verbal, written, and digital communication skills
  • Strong desire to succeed; self-motivated and willing to take on challenges
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Team-player mentality
